Remembering Who You Are!

Well I don't have pictures to update this time but thought I would just right something to catch everyone up on the Amestoy. Well First up Natalie had her Drama Play a couple weeks ago and she was wonderful she played a girl named Cherry who was in a Tongue Twister Competition. The Play was called The Twist of the Tongues. It is cool too because my Parents were here to see it. They are new residents of AZ well part of the time. I am totally excited about that!!! Anyway back to Natalie she also just had her Orchesrta Concert last night they sounded really good for a bunch of 5th graders! Well it is time, time for my son Nathen to graduate 8th grade. I seriously can't believe it. He graduates May 22nd. : ( (holding tears back) As much as I am excited for Nathen to experience High School Life I am so afraid too! He is going to be very busy this summer. Guess that is a good thing-Keep him out of trouble HE HE HE! He starts a basketball league 5/27 with his Freshman Team from school, then he starts a Basketball Camp which is put on by the school. Natalie is going to do the basketball camp too for the younger kids. Then Nathen heads up to the Mountains for a week to Football Camp. Crazy I know. I don't usually like having my kids be so busy but it is the Summer and they don't have school to worry about. We also plan on going out on the boat to hang out at the lake, on the weekends. I am soooooooo proud of my kids. I really have been blessed with such a wonderful family. Steve is an awesome husband and father he takes wonderful care of us. I wake up everyday thankful to have such wonderful kids and husband. : } I am sure I will have some pictures to post soon I have family coming out to visit and see Nathen's Graduation.

Yes it Happened! Steve got Beat Down by Nate

So Nathen came in the house last night and said Dad come on lets play a game. Steve was like OK you ready to get beat? I was secretly laughing inside because I know Nathen has been playing basketball everyday after school since he got it for his birthday and he has a great outside shot. (that is the only way we can beat Steve) Natalie was up in the tree watching on and I was sitting in a chair & taking pictures of my boys playing. (I love when my boys play basketball.) First shot Nate from the outside in goes the ball for 2 points. How we play the game is 1 point for a regular shot and 2 points for a long outside shot. And we play up to 11. Nate just kept making those outside shots it a was awesome and even better when he made the last one making it 11-6 (I think) So of course Steve had to play another game. Well, Nate beat him again it was funny! So of course Steve said 1 more. I have to say I think Nate was getting a little tired because he wasn't making his shots anymore. (lil off) Steve did win that one. So the games will continue tonight. I just think it is great that Nathen won, he was so excited he beat his Dad!

Nat's Hair

Natalie and Savanna (her BFF) went shopping, lunch and to a place called Glitterbox for Savanna's Birthday. They got their hair done at Glitterbox. SO Cute I wish I had a piture of both of them.

Nate's Birthday

Ok so we took Nathen and 3 of his friends to the movies and pizza Friday night for his birthday. It was like teenager hell at the movie theater! Not from our kids but just the stupid teenagers out these days. We went and saw that movie Taken it was pretty good the boys liked it. It is crazy to think I have a 14 year old soon to be a Freshman. I just hope my kids have more fun in high school than I did. On Saturday we sang him happy birthday and he blew his candles out. I made him Brownies since he doesn't like cake so much. Here are a few pictures I took on his birthday.

Update on the Fam

Our Family is doind well. Time is Flying by! Nate will be 14 in 6 days and he doesn't let me forget how many days till his birthday for some reason he is really excited about turning 14. Go figure : } He got his gift early because it was going to be hard to hind it. We got him an inground Basketball Hoop. I am really excited about that too! We gave it to him on Saturday and Steve started putting it in the ground. It will be complete today! Natalie is studying hard for her play! She is super excted about her play and I can't wait to see her in it. She is still the excitement in our lives, the life of the party! She still says the funniest things. I would be rich if I would have started a book when she was little from all the funny things she says. I told her she should be a lawyer she can not let anything go, when she wants something she asks anyway she can. As many times as she wants. Sometimes she gets in trouble for it : {. For Steve and I we are just doing the same! Workin and keeping up with our kids. We are really proud of our kids. I can't believe I was blessed with such great kids! This January Steve and I have been together for 15 years. Wow how time flys! I love every minute of it and we have grown so much together. I guess 15 years can do that to you!!!

Wow it has been awhile

OK so I know it has been awhile since I posted--My Bad. I think I just get caught up with my daily routine and after work I just don't feel like going on the compluter again. First I will update the animal situation. Ronix is no longer with us unfortunatley we had to give him to the local Animal Shelter he did not like other animals or small children he did wonderful with our small family but we have alot of friends with small children and we couldn't take the chance. SOOOOOO the day before Natalie's Birthday in Sept we got a Mini Pin named Duke. I gotta say this small dogs are different than big dogs. Steve doesn't really like him but Natalie just loves him. For Christmas we went and saw that movie Marley & Me, so stinken cute. We started missing having a big Dog around especially Nathen. SOOOO after Christmas Steve and I looked around and fell in love with Roxy!
